Welcome to the NHIDPA web site.

The primary mission of the NHIDPA is to promote the goals of the International Defensive Pistol Association at the local level. We are focused on shooters whose primary interest is in honing their defensive shooting skills in a practical competition environment. Bill Wilson, president of IDPA says “The goal of Defensive Pistol is to create a level playing field for all competitors to test the skill and ability of the individual, not their equipment or gamesmanship .” The success of IDPA over the years has been its commitment to this philosophy and the NHIDPA was formed to carry on this philosophy at the local level.
